Lori is a self-professed “gadget-girl,” interested in way too many things, all at the same time. A wife, mom (of 2 teenagers), and a technologist, with a curiosity and passion for education and public good.

She's is also an avid bicyclist, seeing much of her beloved Town of Cary from two wheels with her family and riding in the annual BikeMS/150 ride in New Bern, NC. A wanna-be “gardener," she's committed to protecting the environment and local charm of Cary for all of Cary’s citizens. Keeping families, businesses and kids safe online is a issue near and dear to her heart – which is why she is often found teaching internet safety classes locally.

Lori lives in Preston Village with her husband Greg and children Morgan and Jacob. Lori’s Mom moved to Cary in 1998, her mother-in-law and sister-in-law have also moved closer, and she is working on getting the entire family to move here to North Carolina.
