As many leadership failures result from a failure to truly listen, the group exercised ways to listen and practice listening in an engaged and present manner throughout the weekend.
This need for listening is reflected in Otto Scharmer's "Four Levels Of Listening" presentation available at this link.
Rather than being a lesson learned once, leadership and the skills to lead require practice, just as other activities do. If you want to be better at golf, you should practice putting and other skills. If you want to be a better leader, you should practice listening as well as other skills.
At the end of Seminar I, the group took a brief video to introduce themselves. You are invited to view it on our Twitter page at this link.
